One of the oldest cities of Poland, Krakow, was chosen by the advertising agency Pride & Glory Interactive, as the base for its 810m2 offices, which were designed by Polish architects Morpho Studio.

The architects’ design vision was to preserve the space’s former industrial atmosphere, while adding warmer and more homely elements, to make it more cozy and inviting. Maintaining the industrial character of the neighborhood, what used to be a cable factory has been transformed into a collection of mainly open spaces of an achromatic color palette of black, grey and white, interrupted by timber accents. Recycled wooden boards are stacked as furniture, award display shelves are made of ladders, timber frames and doors are inspired by details found in barns, all adding to the unique and quirky character of the offices.

An interesting approach has been chosen as far as lighting is concerned; light bulbs hanging from bunch of cables and industrial-like pendants decorate the meeting rooms and work spaces. The kitchen is open plan and comprises of a dining room with the purpose of bringing the employees together.

Morpho Studio
have created a beautiful, fun, post industrial space, making it the ideal backdrop for the bespoke timber furniture and structures to stand out and soften the strictness of the building.
