Located in Paris, this optical store is probably best perceived in person, however if we imagine ourselves being there we can start to understand the idea behind Dumazer & Lafallisse thinking.
This store used to be a gallery and it seems that the design of the new store wants to pay tribute to it's history by creating a new interior that still seems to exhibit art pieces. A beautiful way to maintain the roots of a location, and an ingenious way of giving value to the product at hand.
To finish it off however, Dumazer & Lafalliesse Architects added a hint of humour by placing various types of mirrors on the walls, which again make direct reference to paintings formerly hanging on the walls.
