The idea for Blitz originated a year ago with a shared passion for the beauty of vintage motorcycles of three friends from Paris. Fred, Hugo and Leo restored and modified old bikes for friends, streamlining them and creating ergonomic machines with sleek lines and ultimate performance. Today, Fred, formerly a Marketing Director and Hugo, a graphic designer, form the nucleus of the company.

Their love of the heart and soul of these old bikes led them to bring them into the 21st century in line with the owner’s requirements along with their highly developed aesthetics, while avoiding the use of synthetic materials such as plastic in the finishes. The finished products can only be described as works of art.

They are emotionally involved with the pieces they work on but each have their favorites strongly connected to their fond memories from the past. Hugo recalls being taught the basics of mechanics on an old Vespa and Fred’s father took him for rides on a Honda Dax. These together with the Harley Davidson they hold closely to their hearts.

In fact, Blitz represents a vision of what a bike should be: “Two wheels, an engine and the freedom to ride on open roads”
