In a unique 2 level space of a renovated 1908 hospital in Hertogenbosch - also known as Den Bosch - 30 klm outside Eindhoven in the Netherlands, Roderick Vos and his designer wife, Clair Vos Tueuwen have created their ideal multi purpose work environment. The inspirational space exhibits a relaxed, playful yet creative element with an amazing piece of machinery in pride of place, a fully functional, larger than life switchboard!

A selection of Vos designs for Moooi, Royal Tichelaar, Chateau de la Resle and others are distributed throughout the showroom, along with the couple's own Moodworks label and a number of designs in various stages of development . The upper level is accessed by a striking spiral staircase, a particular favourite piece of the designer, to an area dominated by a living verdant wall of hanging plants.

The bright uncluttered work areas are lit by the Bucketlights, a highly original Vos creation which combines a decorative element of cast aluminum planters, complete with tropical plants, suspended from the ceiling, the undersides of which are fitted with led lights and as an added bonus, socket outlets, thus doing away with unsightly cords cluttering the floor area!

A wonderful combined work and showroom space which allows customers to enter the designers' professional spaces and in this way permits an unaccustomed level of approachability which is exactly what was intended to avoid the usual distance between the general public and designers of his status.
