The Mistral Wind and Champagne Bar in San Paulo, Brazil was designed by the Brazil based international practice of Studio Arthur Casas. Through this multi-purpose establishment, the thriving online suppliers of Wine and Champagne hope to attract further interest in their venture and ultimately new customers, by providing a holistic approach to the appreciation and sales of their goods.

The interior incorporates a retail space, cellar, reading room, wine tasting and bar and the unique feature of an interactive table on which the monthly selection of wine is displayed and by using the bottle as a cursor, information about the wine appears on the table which is also a screen. The bottles are displayed in a variety of ways according to the space, a specifically interesting way is that of a back lit white wall with holes which hold the neck of the bottle, allowing the customer clear visibility of the label while they browse.

Wooden panels at a higher level provides a sense of warmth to the otherwise minimal design and stark white colour palette of the space. The intention of the physical aspect of these premises  is an attempt to bridge the gap between their online business, take out and drink in business in the most effective and aesthetically pleasing manner.
