The bar/restaurant Les Cloches is located in the neighborhood of Saint  Germain des-Pres in Paris. Designed by José Lévy, the concept was to create a space appealing to all who pass by, from locals to tourists. To this end, the facade is highly visible with bright neon lights over the black canopy accompanied by a ‘coat of arms’ logo of three wine glasses with crossed stems.

The interior is a daring blend of styles, a gold plated unfinished wood ceiling presides over the black and white sun ray patterned floors reflected in the arched mirrors with a black background. In the bar/lounge area, the modular furniture makes for an element of flexibility as it can be arranged in a variety of configurations suitable for the most intimate to the largest of gatherings.

Custom designed oak tables and transparent tableware add a mix of tradition with contemporary to the space. The establishment exudes an atmosphere of urban sophistication but with a warm welcome to all and sundry.
