Once again, Kartell had one of the most superbly imaginative stands. References to the travelling Circus Theatres of the past and the beloved pop aesthetics of the company became an ideal setting for the presentation of their products. In that little circus which was set up for the needs of the Salone del Mobile 2011, there was an ingenious reversal of roles.

The audience/visitors to the stand in fact constituted the performers of the evening and the products and displays of the company, displayed amphitheatrically, represented the audience of the show. The floor which was lined with untreated Swedish wood, made a distinctive creaking noise at each movement the visitors made.

What is certain is that everyone appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the interactivity of the staging.
