For its first Boutique, the fashion designer Alexis Mabille chose the interior design agency Humbert & Poyet. His first worldwide boutique of 110 square meters is implemented in the heart of the left bank of Paris, more precisely in the heart of the elegant Grenelle street.

The fashion designer chose Saint Germain des Prés for his first flagship in order to give more visibility to his brand and to retie with the frivolity of the Parisian woman and the “twist” of our time. The store, designed by Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet follows the same spirit: an elegant and feminine atmosphere between the fitting room of a chic Parisian flat and the intimate room. The location, theatrical and clear-lighted, reminds the glamorous atmosphere of Hollywood movies and reinvents the codes of the “Maisons de Couture” in the mid 20th century. The Humbert & Poyet interior design agency has created a place with a strong identity that reproduces the codes of the Fashion House, especially the bow tie on the front door and the mirror game that is found on the labels of the brand. The long window shop is separated from the show room by a geometric claustra made of metal that is also used to display the accessories. An elegant staircase made of black & white marble in the form of a mid-circle enable the access to the boutique. The place in the form of a half-moon offers a display of mirrors, behind which hanging supporters are hidden. Clothing is presented in an elusive reflecting game. A powder-pink velvet curtain ends this magnificent box. The rectangular furniture, entirely made of mirrors, reflect the clear wooden floor in a haussmanian spirit. Emil Humbert and Christophe Poyet created a smooth, feminine and overwhelming environment by working with 1930’s to 1970’s spirit in a modern manner.
