On the Via Tortona in Milan, the charming eatery, Home Made Delicate Restaurant, is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Designed by Luca Rossire and Riccardo Salvi of Logic Architecture with valuable input from its proprietor, Monica Bagnari, its interior encompasses the spirit of a home environment.

The spaces are divided into ‘rooms’ as in any home and one can relax and dine informally in the ‘living room’ or continue to the ‘dining room’ and in the rear is a small garden with a patio. The interior is fresh and clean with a 50s color palette of green, white and black. Much of the furniture was donated by prestigious designers, who were then assigned the title of sponsors, a form of partnership in the project. The delightful patio furniture is Le Corbusier and the bath on the patio is AGAPE. The spectacular birdcage wallpaper and lamps in addition to the large leather sofa are all custom-designed for the space.

A pleasing eclectic mix of old and new, where antique and modern objects meet and create a contemporary yet homely feel to this bistro restaurant which is recognized not only for its cuisine, but also for its excellent taste in design.
