The Deloudis company, the first to introduce ‘to design’, the contemporary design furniture into Greece, have always, from the outset of their development, combined good taste and elegance with an innovative look.

Known for their sensitivity towards the arts, they are launching in September of this year, an original collaboration with the Medousa gallery and the sculptor Naki Tastsioglou.
An artist with an intense presence on the Greek and International map, Tastsioglou is exhibiting in the store at Kifisias Avenue 217, Maroussi, 12 sculptures created of iron and plexiglass. Abstract works with simple geometric lines, a poetic stance and Doric finesse which are perfectly in harmony with the objects and furniture of well known designers and companies, revealing the ideal marriage of sculpture and design.

With this initiative, Deloudis and Maria Dimitriades of the Medousa gallery present a novel proposal, the shaping of the urban home with the daily routine made exciting with artistic fantasy and high aesthetics.

Nakis Tastsioglou has held 9 personal exhibitions in Greece and Italy and has participated in notable exhibitions internationally, including the Venice Bienalle of 1995 and the United Arab Emirates Bienalle, where he was presented with an award for his sculpture.

His works are to be on view at the Deloudis store until 31.12.2011
