Pauly Saal is one of Berlin’s smartest new restaurants. A project of the Grill Royal team with the kitchen headed by celebrated Michelin starred chef, Siegfried Danler, it promises a gastronomic journey back in time to the savoir faire of Berlin in the 20s and 30s.

The restaurant is located in the gymnasium of a refurbished former Jewish Girls’ school, a building preserved by Michael Fuch which already houses galleries
and fashionable eateries. The restaurant has the ambience of a banqueting hall, high ceilings with hand made Murano chandeliers, custom made ceramics and comfortable sofas and dining chairs upholstered in dark green velvet.

A sense of history is evoked not only in the luxurious decor but also in the menu. The extravagance of German cuisine of the past has been revived and is served with urbane elegance in this stylish gourmet destination.
