Zaha Hadid for Caspita Haute Joaillerie, Genève

The collaboration between Zaha Hadid and Caspita delves into the mysteries of the infinitely small to draw there its inspiration directly among the cellular structures of nature. The sublimation of the microscopic invisible is thus revealed by these first two sibylline creations, a sculptural ring and a monumental bracelet. The emotions emanating from these two prodigiously meshed works testify to the nobility of the accomplished gesture. Such as the depths of the soul, the beauty of these objects carries the gaze beyond thoughts, towards the invisible reflection of the microcosm and the macrocosm.

Zaha Hadid dwells for the first time upon goldsmith's objects. She faithfully transposes there her characteristic style of overlapping geometries, taut lines and interlacing of curves in superimposed planes.

The realization of the ring and bracelet represents a real technical feat that only the unparalleled Swiss craftsmanship made possible. Over 300 hours of polishing were necessary for the bracelet to give substance to the creations of the architect whose fineness of the yarn defies reason.
