Bright Beads Pendant Lights is the name for a new range of lights developed by the Sydney based practice of Marz Designs in collaboration with How We Create. Introduced at 2012 Saturday Indesign, the novel idea of a public demonstration of the actual process of hand turning each bead on a lathe, was staged in an attempt to emphasize the relationship between the designer and the manufacturing process.

The beads are made from sustainable Australian hardwood and is available in six basic designs which have been awarded the names of Aztec, Abacus, Art, Aleena, Africa and Alice which refer to the multi-ethnic roots of their shapes.

Extremely decorative and sculptured with bare bulbs at the end of the pendants which hint at an industrial feel. They can be suspended singly or in groups at various heights, the display possibilities are endless either as a permanent or temporary fixture to make an impressive design statement to any room.
