TÊTE DE BOIS design brand was launched in 2013 with the concept of the first and unique design wooden headwear, entirely made in Italy. The creator Andrea Deppieri, venetian architect and designer, creative director of Newton & Son, his multisciplinary design studio, expanded the concept to create TÊTE DE BOIS BASKET & CENTREPIECE COLLECTIONS. Using different materials as rubber, iron and wood, he created new design home products, entirely MADE IN ITALY.
RUBBER & WOOD CENTREPIECES are handmade pieces, made of high density EVA rubber slats in polite colours and wooden washers of dark mahogany and light tanganika woods. IRON & WOOD CENTREPIECES, made in natural black iron wire and wood, are elegant handmade pieces that recall a subtle ethnic style. They are equally suitable to be placed on the table or on the ground also used as an original magazine basket. WOOD CENTREPIECES are small architectures with a strong sculptural presence and an unexpected dynamic energy, depending on the way they are laid down. They are made in stratified pure virgin wood veneers calendered and layered. TÊTE DE BOIS CENTREPIECE COLLECTION is made with wood coming from sustainable regenerating eco-forests.
ÊTE DE BOIS BASKET & CENTREPIECE COLLECTIONS has been launched at the amazing gallery and concept store Spazio Rossana Orlandi, in Milan, in the occasion of the Milan Design Week (april 8th-13th, 2014).
