A loft-style flipped-plan rhythmically-organized house designed by the architects for their own family, this budget-sensitive human-scaled project wove together the architects’ deep knowledge of San Francisco’s urban context and codes with their crisp and clear material and architectural aesthetic.

The house dates from the 1930s and went through many renovation during the years.When it was our turn to renew the the 200 square meter apartment our first step was to simplify everything we felt was too much, in terms of dimensions and materials. C Penthouse is a minimal space located in Antwerp, Belgium, designed by Vincent Van Duysen. The concept of the project was to create an ‘urban loft’. The concrete ceiling and rough timber refer to the historical warehouses which have an architectural presence in the surrounding quay and the city.
The Stella Collective (TSC) have finished their first office fit out in the prestigious 259 George St building in Sydney. Although by the time TSC was done with it, ‘office fit out’ are the last words you’d use to describe it. It’s more ‘day spa meets fashion label HQ meets luxe retail space’. With their trademark fine, black steel shelving units, housing either a plant de jour or a sought after Aesop product, the space has got the Stella stamp all over it.
