Paris based designer Mathieu Lehanneur in collaboration with architect Ana Moussinet have designed the interior of a new cultural venue in Paris, Electric Paris. In a multi-purpose space of 1.000 sqm. facilities are in place to host a wide variety of diverse events from music to sports and art to fashion. Mathieu Lehanneur, a self professed ‘creator of magical and functional objects’, has placed a ‘tree’ as a central focus within the space. This is not just any tree but a twisted sculptural facsimile of a tree, the branches of which form a canopy of technology, capable of producing sound and light facilities suitable for any event.

The clean minimal interior looks out over a panoramic view of the Paris cityscape with the iconic Eiffel Tower in the distance. In addition, an outdoor terrace creates an instant dialogue with the sounds and aroma of the City of Lights from the ‘enlightened’ venue of Electric Paris!
