Designed by Aranguren & Gallegos Architects, the ABC Museum, Illustration and Design Centre located in Madrid is truly a place of inspiration. The triangular facades allow light to fill the desired spaces, while simultaneously waking the visitors emotions. Big open spaces, bright colours and warm materials are strategically chosen to give this building a strong identity whilst allowing it to not interfere with current or future works to be exhibited.

Creating a space of character that doesn't clash with its content is a difficult thing to achieve, but also a very fundamental criteria for an exhibition space. Aranguren & Gallegos have certainly overcome this 'obstacle' and have created a true landmark in Madrid.

I strongly recommend you visit this location if you get the chance, but for the time being here are some shots of it.
